Royal Federation Southern Regional Representative Expressions of Interest 2021/2022

The CJPA Council are calling for expressions of interest from members who are interested in putting their name forward for consideration for the position of Royal Federation Southern Regional Representative on the Royal Federation Board.

Note that in the interest of transparency any member can express interest. 

Points to note:

  • The nominee must be a financial member of the Canterbury JPs Association.
  • Only one nominee per Association is permitted and the nominee must be endorsed by an Association within their region.
  • Nominations are subject to the person nominated consenting.
  • Nominations from Associations are to be delivered to the RF National Manager not later than 31 July each year.
  • Nominations are to be accompanied by a Curriculum Vitae for inclusion in the RF AGM papers and/or with the voting papers for an election if required.
  • The term of office is for one year and the term starts at the conclusion of the Royal Federation Annual Conference.
  • Candidates may be re-nominated at the end of their term.
  • The Southern Regional Representative is one of four Regional Representatives on the Royal Federation Board and is elected to represent the eight Southern Region Associations.

Expressions of interest need to be sent to the Registrar, Canterbury JP Association along with a personal statement/CV (max 500 words) by email or letter by 5 pm on Friday 16 July 2021.

All expressions of interest received will be considered by the CJPA Council at their meeting on Wednesday 21 July and a final decision will be made and notified to all candidates asap after the meeting.
