The Canterbury Justices of the Peace Association wishes to convey our heart felt condolences to our Muslim Justices of the Peace, their families and the Muslim Community following the tragic event on Friday 15 March.

This tragedy strikes at the heart of our Nation and by standing together we will support each other during the difficult times ahead.

Royal Federation Conference Marlborough

The 2019 Annual General Meeting and Conference was held in Blenheim 1 – 3 March.

The venue was great and the Marlborough Association ran a great conference and they deserve to be congratulated for their efforts.

Thank you to all the CJPA attendees, We were well represented and I am sure everyone enjoyed it.

A timely reminder as discussed at Conference.

Please take the time to read the Code of Ethics on page 8 of your Ministerial Manual especially the reference to being conscientious and not bringing the office of Justice of the Peace into disrepute.

Being beyond reproach in all we say and do 24/7 is all our responsibility.
