On a glorious winter's day 25 JP's from near and far attended the Darfield Training session
Following a welcome and introduction by Registrar Ken Shields, Yvonne Palmer on behalf of Bede Rolton summarised his training notes on Wills as presented to the last training session in Christchurch

Bruce Cameron went through the requirements of Dissolution of Marriage and answered questions.
Graeme Barber sought feedback about the accreditation process and training locations. Currently approximately 40% of attendees indicated they are accredited.
Gwen Mitchell as Convener of the 12 current Service Desks advised that 4 more including one at Darfield have been proposed to Council. Attendees all agreed that these provide a valuable service for the public and also a place for JP's to discuss best practice and any questions.
All in the room through their attendance and conversations demonstrated their commitment to life long learning and providing the public the best service possible service in an ever changing an complex world.
Once again a delicious morning tea provided a great networking opportunity.
