Changes to the Traffic Light System
Today's announcement - 23 March 2022
The Government announced today that, while the Covid-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System) will remain and the country will remain in Red, there are some changes;
· Outdoor gatherings will have no limits on numbers, effective from midnight on 25 March with My Vaccine Pass.
· Indoor gatherings and events will have a limit of 200 people with My Vaccine Pass.
· The wearing of face masks (especially on flights, public transport, taxis, retail and public facilities) will remain for most indoor settings. You do not have to wear a face mask outdoors.
From 11.59pm on Monday 4 April vaccine passes are not required. Until 4 April, where My Vaccine Passes are not used, the current restrictions remain. After 4 April the new capacity limits will apply to everyone. Individual businesses may still require these. We will have to see what the venues we use will do.
This will be communicated as soon as possible.
From midnight on 25 March QR codes and mandatory record keeping are not required.
