This message from Cheryl Doig, who is helping design the programme:

It is envisaged that there will be three strands to explore, based on needs and interests - Futures, Equity and Inclusion, and Wellbeing. 

The previous survey regarding needs under each of these streams has been collated and will be used to help design the sessions. At this stage it is envisaged that there will be an hour for these streams on each of the two days. This work is currently being designed and will be explored more fully at the conference. 

Your initial choice is for organisational purposes but you will be able to choose your actual stream on the day.

Some of the emergent information about the strands is as follows:

• Futures - future focused leadership, exploring some of the local and global trends and using some foresight tools to add to your kete.
• Equity and Inclusion - leading for cultural competence, diverse learners and inclusive education practices
• Wellbeing - leading for wellbeing, empowering others to support their own wellbeing, collaborative leadership

The three streams are active, connecting sessions that will be coordinated by some of the Grow Waitaha team. They will include:

• A deep dive into the topic from a leadership perspective
• Connecting ideas of the group, sharing expertise in the room, creating artefacts that all can use
• Any material developed will be collated and available to all.
