Revitalizing Roydvale: Te Ara Maurea Roydvale School partners with Carus for new paint job!

Carus are excited to share the success story of our partnership with Te Ara Maurea Roydvale School.

The school found themselves facing the challenge of overdue painting because they were in a holding pattern waiting for a refurbishment program on certain blocks as part of the CSR rebuild program. This meant that those blocks couldn't be painted until the refurbishment was completed.

However, together we devised a plan to divide the painting project into two stages: stage 1 took place in 2021/22, and stage 2 in the summer of 22/23. This approach ensured that the school could be painted while accommodating the ongoing refurbishment work.

But our collaboration didn't end there. Carus committed to providing annual maintenance support to Roydvale School. In addition to repainting the school, we will return each year to wash all the buildings and perform necessary paint maintenance. This cyclical plan guarantees that the school will maintain its impeccable appearance and extends the life of the paint system.

Carus would like to express our gratitude to Jenny and her team at Te Ara Maurea Roydvale School for being outstanding partners throughout this process. Our team at Carus is immensely proud to play their part in looking after this fantastic school, ensuring it remains a vibrant and inviting environment for all students, teachers and whanau who enter its gates.

“We had Wilton and the team at Carus working on our school buildings over a two year period to complete external painting works throughout our school. We were very impressed with the quality of the painting and the attention to detail of their service. The team were able to work around our school activities and events which meant the team were flexible and responsive to the school needs.

We had a really positive relationship with the team and the communication between the company and the school was excellent. Our Board has decided to maintain this high standard and committed funds to ensure the exterior buildings are maintained over a period of time and signed into a future painting maintenance contract with Carus.

Thank you to Wilton, Tyler and the team for producing such a high quality painting experience to our school and we look forward to continuing our working relationship”.
