Join us for a "bite-sized" Zoom presentation during your lunchtime.

Professors Gail Gillon and Brigid McNeill – co-developers of the Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA) will present regional data highlighting the great progress children in the Canterbury and West Coast BSLA schools are making in their foundational literacy skills. They will also discuss leadership supports that are facilitating the success of BSLA including changes to literacy assessments, supporting whānau workshops and supporting junior school teachers who are implementing BSLA.

Opportunities for new teachers and literacy specialists to enrol in the BSLA training will also be discussed
