Last Thursday we went to Tahuna Intermediate for the Ukulele Jam.

There were heaps of schools. Mrs Horton and Mrs Nicholson took us and Mr James came too. We went on the bus with Alistair.

We played heaps of songs like Tutira Mai, The Best Day of My Life, Love Love Love and The Spirit of Our Land. There was a girl named Aria Clarke who wrote Be My

Own Me.

There was a band that we played with and they were really good. People got to go up to the front to try and drum and play other instruments. We sang and strummed so many songs and our fingers were sore by the end.  We had an amazing time at the Ukulele Jam.
