Highlands Motorsport Park Trip

Tyler Wilden —

Senior Leadership Group

On Saturday the second of November the Senior Leadership Group 'The Wild Boys' went up to Cromwell. We were visiting Highlands Motorsport Park.

Before we left we cooked up a breakfast fit for a king! Hashbrowns, bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, toast, and baked beans were all on the menu.

Along the way, we stopped for nachos at Lake Dunstan for lunch. After a speedy pack-up, we drove into Highlands Motorsport Park where we were greeted by a Ferrari and the distant sound of engines screaming.

We went straight down to the go-kart track for some fun. In spite of the odd crash, the boys had an incredible time and thoroughly enjoyed it! Some saying it was the best thing they have ever done!

A quick round of mini golf before the rain started to pour was up next. We stopped by the "Loo With A View" before we made our way into the museum. We were treated to a wide range of awesome vehicles, including a $4.3 million dollar Aston Martin!!!

We had afternoon tea while watching the NASCAR race upstairs in the museum. After a quick play in the playground, we departed Highlands with some very tired boys. At 5:45 we arrived back at school after a pretty incredible day!
