Rock Solid is starting back in week 7 on 24 March for Intermediates and 26 March for Little Rockies.
Kia ora, and welcome to all those new families and welcome back to those of you who have been involved in Rock Solid clubs before. We are so excited to get to know you and your rangatahi.
Rock Solid is a non-denominational Christian organisation. We have a Christian value-based talk at the end of the club which challenges the young people to be considerate to others, understand that they have huge potential no matter what others might say and overall to make good life choices.
Little Rockies is a time for Year 5 & 6 students to hang out, play games and develop friendships. This takes place on a Friday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Carisbrook Hall.
Our Intermediate club starts at 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday at Carisbrook Hall and feeds the youth and provides a space to hang out and play games and chat with volunteer leaders and go on outings to places like the beach, bowling or the park to play spotlight.
Our activities and challenges are fun, build teamwork, leadership and communication. In addition to providing fun programmes, we aim to be a part of this positive support network for the youth, providing a wholistic approach to youth development.
Cost: Gold coin donation. This helps cover some of the cost of the activities and food.
