Science Field Trip
At the end of Term 1 in the senior school...
...a keen group of 24 budding scientists took our new bus to the low tide to Macandrew Bay beach to undertake a comparison of marine life on the rocky shore & sandy shore to celebrate Seaweek. Our ākonga were astonished at the variety of life and we were very proud at how gentle they were handling and identifying the creatures they found, returning them safety to their habitats. A fabulous trip in our local environment, keeping our learning real and relevant with plenty of smiling faces and ‘ah ha’ moments, was all made possible by having our own bus!
