Yr 3&4 Sleepover at School
The year 3&4 team gathered all their pillows and sleeping bags and made their way over to our school hall in their PJ's to have a massive sleepover.
We started our afternoon with afternoon tea and then headed outside in the sunshine to play a few games in our playground. A definite favourite was sardines. We then went upstairs in our block where we went into groups to try and create the tallest flower with only a few select items.
We loved our dinner of pizza and hot chips. Don't worry we ate lots of fruit at afternoon tea. After dinner, we opened up our Countdown boxes of last year's bricks, got in the dress-ups, coloured in, read books and played together before we changed into our PJ's and headed over to the hall.
When we got to the hall we set up our air mattresses, stretchers, sleeping bags etc and found our sleeping spots with our friends. We made night lights out of glow sticks and clear balloons. We then snuggled down to watch a movie on the big screen before falling asleep.
We would love to thank Mr James, Mr Wilden and Miss B.E. for coming and staying with us. We would also love to thank our whānau support of Esme, Susan, Nikita, Te Amorangi and Kristy, we cannot do these amazing experiences without your support. Bring on next years!!!
