An Outstanding Weekend at the NZCAF Otago Regional Aerobics Competition
This past weekend, our aerobics teams and individuals competed at the NZCAF Otago Regional competition at Trinity College. Starting early and finishing late, it was a long day, but our students brought incredible enthusiasm and gave it their all.
On stage, they delivered energetic performances, showcasing both talent and true competitive spirit. Off stage, they displayed remarkable sportsmanship, cheering for all competitors and treating everyone with respect.
The excitement continued into Sunday, with all of our students advancing to the finals. They once again represented Carisbrook School with class and respect, reflecting the values we cherish.
Special thanks to our coach, Destiny Carvell whose dedication has led to both of our teams and individuals qualifying for the National Competition. A special thanks also to Oliva Leonard for helping to make sure our students looked fantastic helping out with makeup and sparkling our costumes. All four of our Carisbrook students will represent the Otago region in Queenstown later this term.
We also want to express our gratitude to the whānau who supported us throughout the weekend—your help was invaluable.
We’re incredibly proud of our students' representation of Carisbrook School and excited for Nationals. The talent and technique on display from older competitors were inspiring, fueling our aspirations for future success.
