Lest We Forget

- —

Our classes delved into learning about our ANZACs in many different ways this year! Remembering those that fought in WWII as we stood at dawn with our bubbles and displaying Poppies in our windows. Check out how we remembered our ANZACS.

Jack and Charlie from Rūma Pekapeka got creative with some ANZAC biscuits and decorated their windows with Poppies. They delivered some biscuits to a neighbour and the poppies could be seen by all the people who walked past!

Kayden and Alana also from Kākāpō created some beautiful Poppy art in the theme of the traditional wreaths last week to commemorate ANZAC day.

This is Mikhalis from Rūma Kākāpō. They read the story Anzac Ted and then answered some questions and drew him.

Erena from Rūma Pekapeka got creative in the kitchen making some yummy ANZAC biscuits!
