Janice Beharrell teaches in Rūma Pekapeka and is also Team Leader for the year 5&6 team. She completed a Bachelor of Teaching degree in 1979 and has been teaching ever since (with 5 years off for raising her two daughters). She enjoys teaching all areas of the curriculum and is involved in the running of many curriculum areas such as Numeracy, Literacy, Health & Physical Education. She is particularly looking forward to learning more about digital technology this year and enjoys her time teaching at Carisbrook School. When Janice is not at school she loves being outside in the garden, walking and spending time with her family and friends.

Tony teaches in Rūma Wheke this year. He is an experienced teacher with experience predominantly in the Dunedin area and the year 5&6 level. He enjoys teaching this age group because of the passion and energy that the students bring to the classroom. Tony has a strong interest in sport and physical education and is currently the Carisbrook School Sports Organiser. He is involved with Football/Cricket and Golf outside of school and enjoys being active. Tony has had two of his children educated at Carisbrook School and believes that it has set them up ready for further educational opportunities.
