Rūma Tui is a fun, energetic classroom where children are encouraged to learn through play and engage in experiences based on their interests, strengths and natural curiosity. Tania works hard to develop a welcoming and positive classroom atmosphere and recognises the importance of whānau and community relationships.

Sarah is the Classroom Teacher in Rūma Korora. Sarah is originally from the UK and has spent many years teaching in the Middle East before moving to teach in New Zealand. She is very passionate about teaching the Juniors, as she feels that this is where she can make the most difference and lay a good foundation for the children to build on their learning. Sarah believes children are motivated to learn if learning is challenging and fun. One of her biggest passions is Literacy. Teaching children to read and write is one of the most important skills, and to see their faces light up when they can decode a word and read or write a sentence independently is one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher.
