Mr Marx and Dr Howe have led the students in some interesting science investigations this week.
The Year 8 students explored weather patterns and charts the past couple of weeks, which included factors which might influence weather. In this week they ended with a fun way of investigating positive and negative charges in the clouds which creates lightning. They tested the amount of static electricity on various materials
The Year 6 students explored landscapes, working their way towards rock formations. In the near future they will explore the soil layers which could consist out of fossils. On Thursday they explored how a fossil forms and had heaps of fun making their own.
