Carncot Independent School

Week 6 ... and looking ahead to Week 7

From the Principal's Desk ...

Today we said a temporary 'good-bye' to Jessica, as she leaves us for the duration of her maternity leave. Our best wishes go with her, as she looks ahead to becoming a mother very soon! Given what a great teacher she is, we know that she will become a very special 'mum'.

Our Year 5 class will be in the very experienced hands of Mrs Wendy Jopson for the remainder of this term before, in Term 4, we will welcome Mrs Christina Haggett as a new member to the Carncot teaching team.

Our 2017 Snow Day had so many highlights. It was wonderful to see the developing skills over the course of the day, as our children embraced the exciting opportunity, persevered and mastered the slopes! Many thanks are extended to Miss White and Mrs Murphy, and the staff team who were so well supported by the great group of parent helpers.

Any feedback from parents or children is welcomed, to add to the staff event debrief, as we look ahead to another snow day next year.
