Week 4 ... and looking ahead to Week 5

From the Principal's Desk

There are several articles today, with more information about the busy, exciting week that we have just had.  And tomorrow night we look forward to our annual Quiz night!

The recent announcement from Robyn Peters and Megan Murphy that they will be retiring at year's end has given us an opportunity to re-look at the overall staffing and middle-management leadership structures of the school.

The decision has been made to advertise and appoint a teaching Deputy Principal to replace one of these vacancies. Education Personnel, the recruitment agency used last year to guide the principal appointment process, has been engaged to support the recruitment and appointment phases of this process.  Simultaneously, we will be advertising the second permanent teacher vacancy to have both positions filled for the new school year.

Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow night ...

Owen Arnst

Principal

Mathex 2017

by Office Admin

Last Friday was Mathex day! Mathex is a maths competition where schools can submit teams of four from Year 5+ to compete against other students from Feilding and Palmerston North. Our school entered 4 teams who represented Carncot School admirably. They prepared well, fought hard and proved what amazing mathematicians they truly are.
