On Friday 27th March the Year 8 students in the art rotation for Tech visited the ‘Selling the Dream’ & ‘Spectrum’ Street Art Exhibitions.

Student’s favourite exhibits were Tags to Riches where the room was divided in half. One side completely white, the other completely tagged. The other was a room filled with a combination of light, music and art. These are just a few of the photos students took on the trip.

Under the Sea

The Y7's entered in the Under the Sea art competition run by Environment Canterbury.

The number and standard of entries was exceptional overall so it was a very difficult process for our judges. Our judges loved the work the two classes entered but thought that they did not quite reflect the criteria of the theme as set for entry. That said they did wish to award a number of your students Special Mention certificates for their work: Holly, Phoenix, Kees, Benjamin, Maddie and Yousif.
