The dodgeball competition is a friendly between the classes that brings the classes together to play as a team.

The dodgeball games are on Thursday during school times in the Casebrook Intermediate or on the east court

We have interviewed a number of people including the team captain of room ten and a great player from room thirteen and the coordinator of the competition Mrs Bell

Here is what they said.

Cohan: I think that the best way to throw is an overarm throw because it makes the ball go faster it comes from your legs, not your arms. I wanted to join the team because sport is fun.

Cameron: I like the overarm throw because you can throw long distances. I joined the team because I like competing in games with others. Aiden is the best player to play with because he is very kind and nice he is also very good at dodgeball.

Mrs Bell: I like when they all work together to throw balls at one person to get them out.

I decided to put this competition together because we thought that their needed to be an interaction between the classes and dodgeball is the type of game that everyone can play instead of a sport that people play for hagley.

Aiden: I wanted to be team leader because I love dodgeball. If I didn’t play dodgeball I would have nothing to do at lunch because all my friends play dodgeball.

Gafatasi: I think we needed a rematch because people kept interfering.

Dodgeball is a great competition in school maybe you can teach your friends how to play so that they can play it too.

Megan: because it sounded interesting and I really like dodgeball. Nicoala. I didn't go and get the ball because it’ll make me vulnerable. Under arm because it’s the best thing really.

Nicoala: because I like playing dodgeball. Megan. Let the ball come to me. Over arm.

Ryder: I got chosen. Camren. Over arm

Jessie: because I like playing dodgeball. Camren. Over arm.
