Lucas Thomas (Room 16 is)  recently went to RVC Kaiapoi Vets Clinic to interview a vet for his Large Animals Science Badge and entered a 'guess the kibble in a jar' competition. He put some sound maths principles into play (counted number in height and circumference, multiplied it, and made a guestimate). Got to within 22 of the correct answer on the massive jar and won a huge Easter hamper!
