On the 24th to the 25th of October, two teams from Casebrook participated in the South Island Basketball tournament which was held at the Pioneer stadium. The two teams that went, were the Girls A and Boys A basketball teams. A huge thanks to the two coaches Paul and Keiran for helping these teams get ready for this tournament. 

Girls A played a total of 8 games including the final. They won 7 games and lost 1 to successfully finish 1st overall.

Boys A played a total of 9 games. They won 5 games, lost 3 and drew once, then they got shifted to the B grade.

Casebrook Girls A successfully came first in the final, winning 31-19. The first time they played each other the Girls A lost by 12 points.
