Miss Lancaster is joining us in Room 1 for the rest of this term.

In Room 1 this term we have a new student teacher starting. Her name is Miss Lancaster and she is going to be helping us through the term. We interviewed her to get to know her a bit more and these are her answers.

Q. What inspired you to study to become a teacher?

A. When Miss Lancaster taught dance she realised she loved teaching. So she started to study to become a school teacher.

Q. Why do you want to become a teacher?

A. She wants to become a teacher because it's fun to make a difference in young people's lives.

Q. What university do you study at?

A. She studies at the University of Canterbury.

Q. Where do you want to travel? And why?

A. She wants to travel to somewhere in Africa to experience different culture.

Q. What kind of hobbies do you enjoy?

A. Her hobbies are dancing, hanging out with friends and family and sports.

Q. What age group do you want to teach?

A. She wants to teach younger students but she is enjoying her time with Year 7's and 8's.
