Thank you to our students and tutors who took part in last Thursdays performance.  It was the first major performance for the year and all involved can be incredibly proud of the standard they achieved.  Every item was a credit to those involved and really showed the groups striving for excellence.

Come and celebrate the end of term next Friday July 8th! Gold badges will be given out along with a few performances from our music groups. The assembly will begin at 1:30pm, we hope to see you there! 

Please pass on our Open Night date to any friends, family or people you know who might be interested.

Our Kapa Haka, Pasifika and Korean groups are performing on the 1st of September at the Cultural Festival. 

There are spaces still available for this year's Mt Hutt Ski Trip on the 11th August.

A huge congratulations to Dominic Pulley from Room 1 who was 1st in the Year 8 Boys Inter-Regional Cross Country race!

Last Wednesday, we took a team of 30 runners to represent Casebrook at the Inter-Regional Cross Country event at Halswell Quarry.

A huge congratulations to Anika Berryman from Room 5 who made the Canterbury Primary Schools Metro Netball team!

Congratulations to Logan Cartwright-Keast from Room 1 who has made the Canterbury Primary Boys A Hockey team.  An awesome achievement that has come from a lot of practice and dedication. Well done Logan!

Our first REP at Home challenge has been a real success for students and their families - our two winners were announced in assembly this week.

Congratulations to our students who achieved their badges for earning the required number of REP cards in one of our three expectations of RESPECT, EXCELLENCE and PERSEVERANCE.  

The Chch City Council have organised a competition just for Intermediate School students over the holidays - with a $300 prize for the winning team!

The lovely ladies at Side Street Hair have the following specials available for Casebrook students and their families. Student haircuts only $20. Also 12 free foils when you book in for a cut, colour and blow wave. Support our local community and give them a call to make an appointment. 

Quiz night Saturday 2nd July. Book the babysitter, round up your friends and come along to quiz night. Everyone welcome, test your general knowledge while raising funds for the school. Spot prizes, raffles, fancy dress optional (prize for best dressed). 

Year 8 Students: All year 8 students enrolled with the Community Dental Service are transferred from the Community Dental Service to a FREE private dentist from Year 9 until their 18th birthday.

On Tuesday 21st the Hagley Football A team played against Cobham D and we made good on our promise to ourselves to win and win well.

Students involved in CAPA (Casebrook Academy of Performing Arts) were given the opportunity to experience Hairspray.

Over 160 Casebrook Intermediate students performed in the On Our Way performance on Thursday 23rd June.  It was a variety of cultural, musical and dance performances that entertained whanau and friends. 

Our Chess Team ventured out to Halswell for the day to compete in the Intermediate grade competition this month!

The students of Room 5 and 6 held a fundraising bake sale to raise money to help bring education to Syrian Refugees.
