On Tuesday, students dressed in house colours, took part in a great range of challenges involving water, balance and team work. Fun was had by all. Thank you to Emily Mordue and Elizabeth Kennedy for organising the day.

Below are the calendar dates for 2018.

A group of our House leaders and Year 8 leaders trekked on a mission to Cotswold Kidsfirst last week to complete their Student Volunteer Army Task. 

On Thursday 23rd of November, a group of students competed at the Canterbury AIMS Athletics in Ashburton.

On the 22nd and 23rd of November there was a S.T.E.A.M. Plus night in Casebrook Intermediate’s hall. 

On Wednesday 29th of November, a group of student competed in a triathlon at Pegasus.

On Thursday 16th of November, Room 3 started reading "Wonder" by Raquel J. Palacio.

Great fun was had over Wednesday and Thursday nights last week where our students shared their learning experiences with their families.

Students have now brought home a book of ten raffle tickets. Tickets are $2 each or $20 for a book and we have twenty awesome prizes up for grabs. If you do not wish to sell all the tickets please return them as quickly as possible so that they can be sold by other families. Please keep track of your tickets as they have been allocated by number to each student and are marked off on their return to school. 

With the end of term fast approaching here are a few dates to remember - Last day to order Sushi Wednesday 6th December. Last day for Lunch orders Thursday 14th December. The canteen will be open on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th to sell any remaining stock - (no lunch orders) and we will also have some yummy ice cream sundaes for sale on these two days.

Please bring along a Christmas themed item to be used in our PTA Christmas raffle. Cards, chocolate, tinsel, decorations, lollies. Any new unopened items gratefully accepted.  

If your child has outgrown their uniform or if they are moving on to High School and it is no longer needed we welcome donations of second hand uniforms. We have a number of students in need of uniforms especially boys uniforms. If you have anything you would like to donate please drop these into the school office.

On Friday 15th December Casebrook Intermediate is taking the whole school to Hanmer Springs Thermal Resort. We have organized this ‘Big Day Out’ as a way of saying thank you to our students for their positive attitude and commitment towards our school community this year.
