This Friday sees us halfway through term three and what a busy first half of the term it has been!  

Congratulations to our students who achieved their badges for earning 20 REP cards in one of our three expectations of RESPECT, EXCELLENCE and PERSEVERANCE.

Our contributing schools have been visited over the last couple of weeks by Casebrook student leaders. 

Hannah Cowles (Room 12) and Amy-Lee Peterson (Room 4) update us on what's been going on at Casebrook.

ICAS Digital Technologies and ICAS Science Test results have been announced.

Our Hagley A teams season came to a close with a tense victory to come 3rd in our division.

It's been another successful year at the annual Cantamath competition.

As a part of the Year 8 maths rotation a group of 12 students researched and created a 3.8m diameter Geodesic dome of aluminium tubing. They spent many hours measuring, cutting, shaping and drilling 165 struts (plus spares) of 3 specific lengths from 16mm diameter tubing. We then travelled to Horncastle Arena and assembled the dome in place for Cantamath 2015.

The Casebrook hockey team has finished their season off on a high!

Spring is just around the corner and the Edible Gardens group is very keen to get stuck into the garden. Our group has grown and we are in need of some further tools to keep up the good work.

The Chess Team ventured out to Cashmere Primary for the day to compete in the Intermediate social competition last Friday with great results!

An all round successful season for the team was highlighted by some outstanding team work and some beautiful goals!

A round up of a fantastic season of Netball for Casebrook!

This Tuesday marked our last Hagley football game of the season.  

Term 3 and the Casebrook PTA are busy with preparations for the upcoming school production. We will be selling snacks, drinks and raffle tickets outside the hall on production nights so please remember to bring your spare change. The students have a mufti day on Friday September 11th and we will be asking for a donation of a grocery item for our raffle prizes. Details coming closer to the time.

Room 2 created circle art using rulers and compasses to start the term and prep for Cantamath. We finished the project by having a gallery walk and complimenting our work! 

Students have been working towards their badge goals over the past few weeks. Challenges range from making baked goods, learning new languages, to completing a maths badge. Students are working hard in Term 3, and showing REP values throughout each challenge. Check out the challenges from the term so far!
