Tēnā Koutou Kātoa -Two Weeks of Fabulous End of Year Celebrations and Fun.

The last two weeks of our term are packed with a wide range of events, some serious and others fun. Earlier this week we were treated to an outdoor concert followed by a House Tug of War. We then move into our final assemblies on Thursday, next week our Big Days Out and the Year 8 formal. We look forward to seeing you at these events. The formal, next Thursday is the final Casebrook event for Year 8 students but Year 7's attend on Friday 18, with school closing for the year at 12 noon.

Lost Property

All library books are now due back to school.

Is there a book that has been lying around for a while? Maybe it is an overdue library book or School Journal from class? Items can be left in the returns bin in the library at any time. All library books were due back Thursday 3rd December.

Free Dental Care

Dental Care during the School Holidays!

Canteen news

Year 7 & 8 Essay Competition

During Term 3, Room 13, Room 16, and a writing extension group wrote essays about an event marked by adversity. From these groups, 18 students (9 from Year 7 and 9 from Year 8) were chosen to be entered into a national competition.

New Robots in the Digi room!

Recently, Casebrook Intermediate bought ten new robots for their digi tech room! They are called LEGO Spike Primes. They can be coded to do sumo wrestling and drive around. Students in the Epro8 group in the digi room work on these robots every Tuesday, building them and getting them ready to sumo (Mr Mutch’s wish).

Last Blast 2020

Last Blast was the CO2 car racing event that happened on Sunday the 6th of December, between 1pm and 4pm. Over fifty carved, sanded and painted blocks of balsa wood were fired across a 20m race track going from Room 5 to Room 8 using the power of Carbon Dioxide.
