On Tuesday we held a Powhiri to welcome our Year 7 students, their whanāu and new staff members. Thank you very much to those who were able to join us.  We are looking forward to working together ensuring 2017 is an exciting and productive year for all.

On Tuesday February 21st, Casebrook holds it's 'meet the teacher' evening. The evening starts in classrooms at 5pm.

At Casebrook we take pride in the variety of musical instruments our students are able to learn. We have a number of well qualified, excellent teachers. The students who take part in this programme tell us how much they enjoy it.

Early HPV immunisation offers the best protection against contracting this virus. Starting 2017, both girls and boys in Year 8 will be offered free HPV Vaccination through the school based programme. 

To our year 7 students from last year, a big welcome back for another action-packed year at Casebrook Intermediate as our 2017 senior students of Year 8. 

Every Wednesday Mr Leys hosts the wheels Wednesday club. 

In the next few weeks the ‘Rising Tide’ resources will be used in our school. We will be using the book in our classrooms and the children will bring their copy home to share with you.

The Casebrook PTA organise many fundraisers through out the year but could not do this without the generosity of our community.  Please get in touch if you are able to donate new items or services that can be used in our raffles.  We are happy to advertise businesses in our fortnightly newsletter.  Any items greatly appreciated.

The Casebrook Canteen is open at morning tea and lunchtime Monday - Friday.  Lunch orders are placed at the canteen window at morning tea time.  We have some delicious daily specials available each day including Sushi on Wednesdays. The canteen prices are great value for money and an easy way to ensure your child has a nutritious lunch.

If you are interested in joining the PTA please come along to our first meeting of the year and get to know our friendly team.  Our main activities are to raise funds for school related items and organise social events.  We would love to see Parents and Caregivers coming along to share their ideas.  It is a great way of meeting new people and connecting with your child's school.  We have a number of long standing PTA members leaving us and would love to see parents with either Year 7 or Year 8 students come along to our first meeting in the staffroom at 7.00pm on February 20th. No pressure to join, just come along and have a look.
