To date we have been very fortunate that all camps and activity days have had wonderful weather. Students, staff and helpers all report on how successful they have been and a great experience to start the year. Thank you to all our families for supporting these events.

When your child is absent from school a note is required to explain their absence. Texting to the teacher is not suitable. If the absence is five days or more a medical certificate is required.

If any of your contact details have changed during the holidays, or will change through the term, please notify the school office.

The purpose of the Science Badge programme is to extend and enrich students in science at Level 3 and 4 of the New Zealand Curriculum. Students have the opportunity to study a specific science topic of their choice, in depth. By completing a range of graded activities and exercises, students receive an attractive badge and certificate.

Music lessons will commence next week.

Our specialist technology programme is a key aspect of what makes Casebrook Intermediate a great place to learn.

The Year 7 sports tournament is underway with the first round being ‘Capture The Flag’.

The Year 7 students have adjusted well to life at Casebrook and have enjoyed a full on first four weeks!
