Last Thursday Casebrook hosted the schools in our Kāhui Ako, Bishopdale, Cotswold, Papanui Primary, Northcote, Redwood and Papanui High along with a number of our ECEs. The whānau of our students turned out in large numbers and really supported the performances. Thank you to staff from all schools for assisting with both the organisation of the students and the cooking and serving of the kai. A special thank you to Trina Wilkinson for the overall organisation.

We are on the hunt for some second-hand sports gear to replenish our Hagley Sports gear.

Our Christmas raffle fundraiser is under way with students bringing home a sheet of ten $2.00 raffle tickets to sell. We would love if you could please support us in this final fundraiser for the year.

Luke Uprichard in Room 2 has had awesome results from his recent Pistol Shooting competition.

Our penguin will be on display for nine weeks, as part of the Pop Up Penguins trail, from 28 November until 31 January 2021.

We are currently looking at the way we transition our Year 6 students into Casebrook and would love to hear the thoughts and ideas from our parents, whānau and wider community.

Is there a book that has been lying around for a while? Maybe it is an overdue library book or School Journal from class? Items can be left in the returns bin in the library at any time. All library books were due back Thursday 3rd December.

Below is a list of lost property, all un-named. Unclaimed property at the end of the year will go into the schools second hand uniform sale. Non uniform items will be donated.

Casebrook recently held the Tōtaranui Kāhui Ako Cultural Festival which was a huge success. Well done to everyone who performed and help set it up!

Students who competed and did well during school athletics where selected to head along to the school zones athletic day.

Tough Kids obstacle course was held on the 18th of November. This was a chance for students to push themselves while getting out and having some fun!

As the Year 8's are preparing to move on from Casebrook, the students who are going to Papanui High School had a chance to get down there and have a look around.

Thursday 19th of November saw every school from our Kāhui Ako come together to share their cultures.

Thank you to all our volunteers that have helped out this year we appreciate your support in what was a very unusual year.

Last day for this year is Thursday 17th December and the canteen will be open at morning tea and lunch time to sell any remaining stock (no lunch orders sorry).

On Friday 4th December we will be having a Christmas themed mufti day: wear your santa hats and Christmas costumes - we will have mystery spot prizes throughout the day.

If you would like to help fundraise by donating your child's school uniform to the school then Year 8's will be having a mufti day to make this easier. Please bring uniform to the classroom.
