A very warm welcome to Term 3 to the Casebrook Community. We have another busy term coming up with the main focus being our school production.

Chris Andrew, one of the first pupils at Casebrook has written a book which will be privately published later this year, below are some of his memories of the time.

My name is Kirstin and I am the allocated Public Health Nurse for your school.

For the past few weeks, we have been welcoming back our Internationals from all over the world into Te Kura Mareko Casebrook Intermediate.

On Wednesday July 19th the two competition teams from Casebrook went to Hornby High School to compete in a dance competition.

Our REP focus for this fortnight has been "Loving our loos!"

On the first day back at school, 17th of July, the Casebrook girls football team took a trip to Orangetheory Stadium, to watch the Japanese Women's Football Team train for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

Miss Dougherty is the student teacher in Room 13 until the end of Week 5 this term.

Kapa Haka & Pasifika will be performing!

During the first week of the holidays Andre Hall competed in a New Zealand Gymnastics competition in Tauranga.

The Book Fair held in Week 1 was a huge success!

Once again this year the University of Canterbury is offering the Kiwi Spelling Bee competitions for Primary and Intermediate school students

A couple of new specials this term we have a delicious cottage pie and a sliders box that includes a cheese burger, chickenburger and hotdog slider plus wedges.

We would love you to join us for the third planting of the year on Sunday 30 July at 50 Atlantis St, in the Red Zone from 10 am to 12pm.

This a friendly reminder about our school expectations for medical absences.

If your child is going to be absent from school - you need to contact the office each day and inform them. This can be done via phone, email, or through the school app. If we don't receive any communication, children are marked down as an unexplained absence.
