To celebrate the start of the 2015 Rugby World Cup the student council is holding a Mufti Day this Friday.

To celebrate the arrival of spring and to provide a new and exciting challenge for lunchtimes, a group of student council boys created a golf challenge.

Amy, from Room 9, has been awarded a High Distinction in ICAS Writing this week. 

ICAS Spelling and  ICAS Writing Test results have been announced. Congratulations to our students who received Merit, Credit, Distinction or High Distinction awards.  

This term, on Tuesday afternoons from 2.00 till 2:50pm, a group of students led by Mrs Rutter, have been playing Catchment Detox.

Students have been working towards their badge goals over the past few weeks. Challenges range from making baked goods, learning new languages, to completing a maths badge. Students are working hard in Term 3, and showing REP values throughout each challenge. Check out the challenges from the term so far!  

Rooms 9, 10 and 11 have taken part in an 'It's all about Ability' programme this term.

Earn a Casebrook Challenge today! Create an original piece of writing (short story) using the following phrase as the theme or as a line anywhere in the piece of writing (but NOT as the title): ‘Beyond the Stars.’  Your piece of writing must be no more than 750 words - your piece must be written with elements of science fiction or fantasy.           Entry is free and you may enter as many times as you like, but all entries must be received by midnight Sunday 15th November 2015.  The instructions are attached.

Because the school production is during the last week of Term 3, our Term 3 Casebrook Challenge assembly will be on Friday, October 16th at 1:30pm. This will give us an opportunity to celebrate our hard work from Term 3 and remind us of our goals for Term 4. We hope to see you there. Students love seeing their parents when they receive their badges! 

Bacon and egg rolls, cheese and pineapple chicken burgers and a jumbo ham and cheese toastie are all new on the canteen menu next term.

We really appreciate the support we receive from our community. If you know of a business that would like to donate a prize, please get in touch with the school office. Details of how you can purchase tickets and be in to win some awesome prizes will be coming up in Term 4.

The PTA will be selling raffle tickets outside the hall on production nights. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Four grocery hampers up for grabs each night. Raffles will be drawn on the night . Please remember to bring your spare change and show your support.

The Community Dental Service will operate an emergency service over the school holidays. This service is to provide relief of pain only and will not undertake ‘routine’ treatment.
