A very warm welcome to all families that are joining us for the first time and to those returning with either a Year 8 or another family member. We have had a great start to the year and so a thank you to all our families for ensuring this was possible .

We interviewed our new Deputy Principal Renée Kake to find out a bit about her. Our school is very excited to welcome her into our Te Kura Mareko community.

The role of the Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) was established in 2015. Currently, the position is held by Mark Russell.

The start of the year often creates a bit of confusion around where to drop off and pick up students at Casebrook.

Your up to date contact details are very important in case of emergencies or sudden illness.

If your child requires medication during school time, a medical form needs to be signed by the parent/caregiver before the medication can be administered.

There are currently some second hand uniform items available for purchase through the school office.

This year’s School Based Vaccination programme will offer two dose HPV vaccinations to protect against genital warts, cervical cancer, throat and mouth cancers, and other types of cancers later in life.

We are lucky enough to have had Mr Scott Lawson join us this year in the Hard Materials room. We asked him some questions so we can get to know him better.

NETFIT is a global organisation, with a national focus on providing rangatahi across the country with an opportunity to express themselves, meet new friends and grow their sport skill base through netball.

This year we are running a free street football hub at Burnside High School on their Netball Courts opposite Jellie Park on a Friday afternoon for four-week blocks.

We want to welcome Miss Frankie Richards to Te Kura Mareko.

On February the 5th, the Year 8's and staff of Casebrook Intermediate welcomed the new students and their families to our school.

Any unnamed items left lying around the school eventually find their way to Te Puna Waro - the school library space. What happens next....?

We are open at morning tea and lunchtime Monday - Friday. Lunch orders are placed in the hall at morning teatime. Students can pay by cash or eftpos.(No paywave sorry)
