Last week the first of two camps had the week based at Glentanner. They had a fabulous time as the photos later in the newsletter will show. Thank you very much to the parents who accompanied them and assisted with transport and to Shona McKenzie and Char Rennie for their organization and making it all possible.

Last week 35 students attended our Education Outside the Classroom Camp at Aoraki, Mount Cook.

Our student leaders worked with the team from Bead and Proceed yesterday, learning about the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals .

Summer Hagley Sport season is underway and our seven Futsal teams are tearing up the courts!

The student council ran an optional gumboot day to show support for the I am Hope movement led by Mike King, on Friday last week

Two water polo teams traveled to Dunedin to play against other schools in the final, and happily came home with first place. Bella tells us about it!

A number of Casebrook teams started playing sport last week for Summer Hagley. The different sports we are playing are touch, futsal, korfball, cricket, and ultimate frisbee. Maddie is with the touch team.

Fox and Bobby were on the camp trip to Mt Cook Camp, this trip took place on the 1st of November to the 5th of November.

A few weeks ago Zara Muirson and some other people went to a writing workshop.

Leon Greig was lucky enough to go to the CAIMS speech contest on Wednesday 27th October to represent Casebrook school.

Seb went off to represent Casebrook in a BMX competition last week.

Our Christmas raffle fundraiser gets under way soon with students bringing home a sheet of ten $2.00 raffle tickets to sell. We would love if you could please support us in this final fundraiser for the year.

On Thursday 25th November we will be having a Christmas themed non uniform day: wear your santa hats and Christmas costumes - we will have mystery spot prizes throughout the day.

Quite a few jackets and other uniform items in the Lost Property room (adjacent to the Foods and Digi Rooms). Some have unreadable labels and some are named for students who are no longer at school.

Some of the male teachers are growing some questionable moustaches to raise funds for the Movember Foundation.

This week we have sent a number of students home because they have been feeling unwell.
