We had two football and one mixed hockey team compete in the Koru Games held over the past three days in Prebbleton and Rolleston. Thank you to the coaches and supporters. A three day tournament, with back to back games was a new experience for many of our young people. Back at school on Wednesday afternoon we had the Super Challenge Film Festival. A big thank you to Sam Kirk for her fabulous organisation and creativity.

Casebrook FC (Boys) and the Casebrook Rapinoes (Girls) football teams have been competing at the Koru Games this week out in Prebbleton.

Two weeks ago all of Te Kura Mareko were given REP @ home sheets to reinforce our values from school at home. We interviewed Ryder from Room 11 and asked him a few questions about the topic.

As many of you will have heard, lots of kids have been out of class rehearsing for our drama showcase and I was privileged to interview Chichi from Room 9 to see how it's going.

Last week was Maori Language Week and we have asked Anthony from Room 6 some questions to see what he knows and thinks about it.
