We have had thirteen students visiting from Korea this term. They have had a fantastic experience with many local sightseeing trips and experiences at school and with their home-stay families.  Thank you very much to the families who were hosts, the programme can not operate without your support. Thank you also to the staff who made the students welcome in their classrooms and to Mrs Tracy Goulden who organised the visit and took very good care of them.  We look forward to the next group joining us at the end of January.

This year Casebrook Intermediate students have had the opportunity to work with the experienced choreographer, Mandy Roberts. It is impressive to see the progress the classes have made throughout Term 3. The dedicated production cast have also been working hard to ensure a quality performance to take place in Week 9 of this term. 

The NZEI is entitled to do so under the Employment Relations Act 2000.

Year 8 had a great day at the MMMR (mean, median, mode & range) Olympics. After selecting their country, they rotated through 20 stations and recorded each team member's data. Students worked out the results back in their maths classes. We finished the day with a closing ceremony.  Students showed REP and pride throughout the entire event!

Casebrook students presented to the Papanui/Shirley Community Board last week to thank them for their financial support of our student leadership programme.

Over the past two weeks Casebrook students have been visiting their previous primary schools to share their Casebrook advice with the 2017 intake.

It's been another successful year at the annual Cantamath competition.

The Casebrook Football B team started in the C grade and got off to a great start with three wins.

We started off the season pretty slowly and didn’t manage many wins.

On Tuesday 23rd August the year 7 classes had a dance off in the hall. This was in preparation for the school production taking place in Week 9. 

If you are interested in joining the PTA please come along to the next meeting and get to know our friendly team. Our main activities are to raise funds for school related items and organise social events. We would love to see more parents and caregivers coming along to share their ideas. On Saturday 13th August we held a Lego fundraiser. This was the first time we have held this event and it was a great success with a large group enjoying a creative afternoon. If you missed this event we will be running this again in the next school holidays.

If your child has outgrown their uniform or if they are moving on to High School and it is no longer needed we welcome donations of second hand uniforms.  

Spring is just around the corner and hopefully bringing warmer weather, did you know the canteen has a delicious selection of made to order rolls, wraps, sandwiches and salads.

During Term Four the PTA will be running a Christmas raffle and we are currently looking for donations of prizes. Please support us and contact the office if you can help.

Papanui Youth Development (home of Neon Friday after school programme) are hosting a dance party.

Hi passionate Touch and Sevens players! Motivationz Rugby is running its Touch and Sevens Summer programme for boys and girls. 

The Casebrook Hockey team went up against Chisnallwood in the C grade final!

We were very fortunate to be able to host the yearly social competition this year and it proved to be a positive and intense day of engaging minds!
