If any of your contact details have changed during the holidays, or will change through the term, please notify the school office.

When your child is absent from school a note is required to explain their absence. Texting to the teacher is not suitable. If the absence is five days or more a medical certificate is required.

The teachers union (NZEI) has called a paid union meeting on Thursday 9th May 2019.

All orders and payments are due back at school by Thursday 9 May.

Nomination forms for the School Board of Trustees will be posted out to parents next week.

Entertainment books are now available in either digital or book form.

We would like to invite you and your child to meet with your child’s teacher for the Parent / Whanau Interview. We believe that there are advantages in providing this opportunity to meet and discuss your child’s abilities, strengths and needs. This is an opportunity for you to discuss with the teacher your child’s learning and growth as part of the Casebrook Community.

The Easter Raffle and Mufti Day was a great success and a lot of fun. Tavia, Luke and Ruby from Room 15 caught up with the winners of the costume competition.

Rooms 11, 12 and 15 are currently taking part in inquiry integration.

The University of Canterbury is offering your child the opportunity to participate in the Great KIWI English, Mathematics and Science competitions.

New this Term we have yummy hot cakes with maple syrup available on Mondays - only $2.50. Also hot chocolates with marshmallows - only $1.50.

Come and join us on Sunday 26th May at 6pm at Reading Cinema to an advance screening of Rocketman - The Elton John Movie. See the movie before anyone else!
