The Casebrook Swimming Sports were held last week, the boys on Thursday and the girls on Friday. Most of our students made the most of the event by entering races that were suitable to their personal skill level. Thank you very much to Miss Emily Mordue and all staff for making it happen.

Following a large donation from The Southern Trust the school has been able to update the Curtains in the School Hall. The hall is now looking refreshed and a great space for school and community use.Thank you very much to The Southern Trust.

Thank you to New Zealand Community Trust for their donation which has allowed the school to purchase Hockey Shirts. The Hockey Teams will now be looking very smart when out competing against other schools.

If your child is a confident singer or has learnt a musical instrument and they would like to audition for a representative group in the Christchurch Schools' Music Festival, such as the Senior Choir, Concert Band or Orchestra, please read on.

The Casebrook PTA organise many fundraisers through out the year but could not do this without the generosity of our community. We have a quiz night coming up and need prize's for our raffle table. On Thursday the 1st of March and Friday the 2nd of March, The Casebrook Boy's Cricket team competed in the National Primary School Cup cricket tournament.

On Tuesday afternoon Lynda, a self-defence instructor comes to teach a group of girls at Casebrook Intermediate School about standing up for themselves and being stronger.

On Thursday and Friday the 19th-20th of February the Casebrook Girls Cricket team went to Hagley Park to compete in the National Primary School Shield Competition.
