Sailing Across the Atlantic

by Kelsey Knipshild

Rooms 2, 3, 9, and 10 learned about the challenges of sailing across the Atlantic. Students were able to hear a first hand account and hear lessons learned from the voyage.  Students tried on the gear and were timed on how quickly they could dress and undress. They also gained perspective on what we take for granted (like toilets and a hot shower) living on land!
