Last week Casebrook hosted a Dance Party. The DJs, our fabulous youth workers Jeremy and Dan allowed the audience to request all their favourite music. Thank you to all our staff for their support, a good night was had by all.

Tomorrow there is a mufti day fundraiser for our water polo teams heading to Dunedin later this year.

Over the past couple of months, our school has been running the Board Election process (this is a Ministry of Education requirement every three years), to determine the new Casebrook Intermediate Board of Trustees for the next three-year period.

The Casebrook Water Polo teams are looking for any donations towards their garage sale.

Alex Wallwork from Room 13 was selected for the special orchestra for the Christchurch Schools Music Festival.

Congratulations to our prize winners who sold an amazing amount of chocolate. 1st place went to Lochlan DeLeijer and he has won a $100 Northlands mall voucher.

Book the babysitter, round up your friends and come along to quiz night. Everyone welcome, test your general knowledge while raising much needed funds for the school. Spot prizes, raffles, spin to win wheel, fancy dress optional (prize for best dressed). This is a great night not to be missed.

All Year 7 classes have been participating in Turbo Touch on Fridays with Matt from Touch Canterbury.

This article is on the Maths and Science Badges which is an extra curricular activity for children who want to challenge themselves.

Year 8’s from Casebrook Intermediate are learning how to play lawn bowls.

The Casebrook Gymnastics team went to the Christchurch School of Gymnastics to compete in bar, beam, floor and vault.

A number of Casebrook students have been selected to play in either the A or B Waterpolo team this year. Water Polo is very physical water sport with lots of swimming and egg-beating. Six players are on at a time.

On 19th June, Room 13 went to Summerset Retirement Village to play bingo with the residents.

The Casebrook cross country runners went to Halswell Quarry for the cross country Canterbury’s on Wednesday the 19th of June.
