Kapa Haka performed in the Tūhono competition on Sunday night and successfully won three divisions plus being awarded the overall winners. Their performance would have to be one of the best I have ever seen. We are all incredibly proud of your achievements as a group and pass on our thanks and congratulations to Whāea Tania and Mātua Willie, our tutors.

Last Sunday the Casebrook Kapa Haka group went to Tūhono to compete against other Intermediate Schools and defend their last year titles.

Is there a book that has been lying around for a while? Maybe it is an overdue library book or School Journal from class? Items can be left in the returns bin in the library at any time. All library books are due back this week.

Quite a few jackets and other uniform items in the Lost Property room (adjacent to the Foods and Digi Rooms). Some have unreadable labels and some are named for students who are no longer at school.

Our Christmas raffle fundraiser is under way with students bringing home a sheet of ten $2.00 raffle tickets to sell. We would love if you could please support us in this final fundraiser for the year.

On Friday 3rd of December at 11:00am members of our school choir, Casebrook Singers, will be at the Bishopdale Mall performing.

On Saturday the 27th of November at 12:00pm at Riverside Market, in the city centre, the Casebrook Korean Dancers will be performing.

Last Sunday, the Casebook Intermediate Kapa Haka group, Te Kura Mareko, went to Tūhono.

On Tuesday 9th of November, Rooms 5 and 16 went on a fun, educational trip to Ara Institute of Canterbury, to learn about a career that they might not have known about.

The On Our Way Performance was great because we got to see and watch some amazing performances!

On Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of November prospective Year 6 students from all over Christchurch came for a transition day to see how things work at Casebrook.

On Monday the 8th of November some Casebrook students went to the Canterbury Duathlon.

On Tuesday the 16th of November ContraBand and DaBoiz were hoping to go to Bandquest but this year it was different because of Covid. They had to record their songs for Bandquest and wait for their results. They did a fantastic job with their video performance and even came away with some great results.
