It was damp underfoot but the sun shone, allowing our annual school cross country to be run yesterday afternoon.  Our students have been in training all term in preparation for this event and we congratulate all participants as we realise it is an event enjoyed by some more than others.  It was great to see a number of whanau supporting the runners at the finish line. 

Students are making great efforts with their challenges as they should be about half way to getting their badges.

As part of New Zealand's May Music Month the Casebrook Chorale were invited to perform at Papanui and Redwood Libraries. 

I would like to welcome you to our school hall on Thursday June 23rd for Casebrook’s first performance evening of 2016.

School will be closed on Monday 6 June, celebrating the Queens Birthday.

A huge thank you to Westpac Bank at Northlands Mall who collected a huge amount of second hand sports equipment and donated it to the students of Casebrook.

Some of our mentor group students have contributed some awesome art to an exhibition at Papanui Library.

Our student leaders have been working with our staff PB4L team to create a family-focused 'REP in the Home' challenge.

John Parsons is a leading cyber-safety expert for schools. He spent Friday last week with staff and students discussing and advising how to interact in an online environment.

Congratulations to our students who achieved their badges for earning the required number of REP cards in one of our three expectations of RESPECT, EXCELLENCE and PERSEVERANCE.  

If you are interested in joining the PTA please come along to the next meeting and get to know our friendly team. Our main activities are to raise funds for school related items and organise social events. We would love to see more parents and caregivers coming along to share their ideas. Thank you to all our Casebrook families showing support by selling chocolates. If you have chocolate bars left over and are having trouble selling them please return them to the office tomorrow to be passed onto our super sellers. Our competition for the top sellers is very close with a number of students selling similar amounts. Last day for money to be returned is Friday 10th June. 

Book the babysitter, round up your friends and come along to quiz night. Everyone welcome, test your general knowledge while raising funds for the school. Spot prizes, raffles, fancy dress optional (prize for best dressed).

Our Casebrook Chess Club sent a four person team to Heaton the week before last to compete in the Chess Power competitive division with personal success all round.

On May 24th the Boys Football A team played against Cobham A’s
