This is the last newsletter for this term. We close for the break on Friday, April 16, and Term Two begins on Monday, May 3.

Easter madness took over Casebrook last week!

The student leadership team are embarking on their first leadership project which is an appeal day for St John Ambulance on Wednesday 14th April

Ruby Cleverley (Room 10) competed in the South Island Ballet Awards.

Three of our students were involved in the South Island Marching Championships.

As the end of the term draws nearer it is time to dig out those overdue library books, I have spoken to a few students who have promised to get them back to school so a gentle nudge to remind them would be fantastic.

Lost property is kept in the space between the Foods and the Digi room, your child can check there at anytime that suits their teacher.

Well done to Lucy Pratley (Room 16) who won the Under 13 Grade at the Canterbury Tennis Competition.

Lachlan Bell (Room 3) competed in two local competitions and came away with some great results!

Congratulations to Jett Schooner for achieving some fantastic results at the Triangular Athletics Tournament.

Our school-wide REP focus till the end of the term is around showing REP at break times.

Our student leadership team are an awesome group of keen students looking to add fun and new opportunities to the whole Casebrook experience.

Year 8 working in clay work and Year 7 paper mache.

Wednesday is Sushi day and students can order Sushi at morning teatime to pick up at lunchtime. Payment can be made by cash or eftpos.

In Term 2 the PTA will be running a popcorn fundraiser. Each child will be sent home with a box of 10pkts of popcorn to sell for $2 each. If you do not wish your child to participate please contact the office by April 30th.

On Tuesday 30th March, the Rugby League team took the bus to Nga Puna Wai to verse other Intermediate Schools from Canterbury.
