Casebrook was pleased to host the first of what we hope are many celebrations where students from across our cluster have the opportunity to share and perform.  It was a very pleasant, relaxed gathering and our students particularly enjoyed meeting up with their friends and teachers from previous school.

On the weekend of the 28th of November over 31,000 people around New Zealand marched for action on climate change. I went to the climate march with my family.

On Friday the 27th, Room 2 celebrated their own version of Thanksgiving-Thankiwi. Students took time to think about what they're thankful for and learned about the holiday's history. We played Roll The Turkey and competed in a house scavenger hunt. The entire class prepared lunch together which included chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, apple crumble and a chocolate fountain. We ended the day with a game if American football with room 5. Happy Thankiwi!

Our Casebrook Prize-giving was held last evening. Congratulations to all our students who received excellence certificates and trophies last night.

Congratulations to our Kapa Haka leaders for 2016 who were unveiled last night at our Prize giving.

The boys have had a fantastic year this year on the Tama Tu Tama Ora program. 

Its been a fantastic year for Te Pihi Ora! We have had so much fun, many laughs and learned heaps along the way – leaders included!

All school library books need to be returned now, please take the time to have a look around home and send back anything you think belongs back at school.

Casebrook Boys Cricket came an admirable 3rd place after showing excellent perseverance in the knockout stages. 

We have a  number of long standing PTA members leaving us and would love to see both parents new to the school community next year and those that already have students at Casebrook come along to our first meeting in February. No pressure to join just come along and have a look. Meeting date and time to be confirmed please look out for details at the beginning of term one.

If your child has outgrown their uniform or if they are moving on to High School and it is no longer needed we welcome donations of second hand uniforms. These items can be dropped into the school office. 

We will be selling ice cream sundaes in the canteen on Tuesday 15th December. These must be pre-ordered on December 10th. If you would like to order either a Chocolate or Strawberry sundae please see Mrs Mac at the Canteen. Sundaes are $2 each.

On Monday, 14th December, Casebrook Intermediate is taking the whole school to Hanmer Springs Thermal Resort. We have organised this ‘Big Day Out’ as a way of saying thank you to our students for their positive attitude and commitment towards our school community this year.
