St Brigid's Kapa Haka Festival:

At the end of Term 3 our Kapa Haka group took part in the St Brigid's Kapa Haka Festival.  It was a wonderful feeling of pride as we watched them performing and seeing the pride and smiles on their faces as they performed.  Thank you to all of those who helped with the organisation especially Jess R, Jenny N, Carmen, Linda and Abi.

Road Patrol Parade

At the end of last term our road patrollers dressed in orange and took to the streets in central Wellington to celebrate being a road patroller.  Road patrollers from around Wellington met up in Civic Square and walked down Lambton Quay to Parliament.  Ka pai to Pearl who was our sign designer and ngā mihi to everyone who helped colour it in.

Our patrollers take pride in their responsibility as a road patroller ensuring the safety of our tamariki as they cross the road in all weathers.  Thank you Eloise, Ruby Love, Josh M, Max H, Pearl, Zoe M, Isabella L, Sienna W, Millie, Olivia, Damian, Sylvie S, Sienna BP, Emma, Nolan, Harley, Sylvie B, Sophia, Nina and Bradley.  Thank you also to all our patrol parent helpers, we wouldn't be able to offer this service without your support and help.

Chinese Language Week:

At the end of last term it was Chinese Language week and some of our classes learned about Chinese culture and the language.  Room 15 were lucky enough to have a parent come in and write the names of the children using Chinese symbols and then the children gave it a go.
