You may have noticed a new AED in Khandallah Village outside the Town Hall.  Well, here at Cashmere Avenue School we would like to do the same thing, especially as we are a WREMO community hub - but we do need some sponsorship.  Do you have a business or know someone who would like to sponsor an AED?  

How much - approximate cost is $4,000

What do you get - you get your company logo and message on the white box (as per the photo)

There are two white boxes - one on each side - so we could have two sponsors each paying approximately $2,000 each.

Do we have to pay for the upkeep - Wellington Free Ambulance take care of the installation and servicing of the AED thanks to the sponsorship from the Lloyd Morrison Foundation.

If anyone calls an ambulance and needs to use the AED, 111 would give them the code to access it.

Did you know that if you use CPR and an AED, survival rates can increase to 80%!  The quicker you can access an AED the better the survival rate of the patient.
