As the residents of Cashmere Avenue will already know, the council have scheduled work to raise our pedestrian crossing in mid-April.  This work is in response to our concerns around the safety of our tamariki and the wider community.  Raising it will provide greater visibility and will reduce the speeds that some cars are travelling.  I know this will be a great relief to the many volunteers who man our school crossings each day.
