Emergency Management meeting with WREMO, Sandpit, NZEI meeting

Emergency Management meeting with WREMO:

You may be aware that the Cochran Hall is a Community Hub - a place to go if there is an emergency in Wellington. We have organised for a representative from WREMO to come and talk to our wider Khandallah community about Community Hubs and what you can expect if there is an emergency in Wellington and what a community hub is for.

The event will take place on Wednesday 15 May 7pm - 8pm. Please note this meeting is not just for our school community but for the wider Khandallah community. If you know of others who may be interested in attending, please let them know about the meeting.

Sandpit:

A reminder that children are not to walk all over our sandpit cover.  If you are here with your children in the weekends you are welcome to open the sandpit and use the toys but please make sure only an adult opens and closes the storage box, cover the sandpit after use, put the toys away and don't leave the lid open while they are playing in the sandpit. 

NZEI Union Meetings:

Our teachers will be attending NZEI meetings between 21 March and 4 April.  Different meetings will be attended by our teaching staff so this will not affect our classes and we will stay open while the meetings take place.
