Athletics Day, Northern Zone Athletics

What a fantastic day, Tuesday athletics day was.  Our tamariki all tried their best and cheered on their teammates.  Thanks to teacher Blair Elliott for all his organisation of the day, even the sun was shining.  We had long sprints, fun races, shotput, vortex, quoits, target throwing, long jump and high jump.  Not forgetting our relay races, congratulations to Rooms 12 and 19 and the staff had a win over the students.

Northern Zone Athletics

We had 44 athletes representing Cashmere Avenue School at the Northern Zone Athletics Day at Newtown Park.  It was a busy day for our athletes.  Ka pai to everyone who participated.  Ka pai to Jude, Ollie B, Connor, Grace, Anabelle, Oliver H, Selwyn, Neel, Sophia, Will and Zara who have qualified for Interzones.
